The Rotating Cowl Ø 175 is an essential addition for ensuring the efficiency and safety of your chimney system. Designed for use with solid fuel, gas, and oil appliances, including wood stoves, gas coal effect fires, and boilers, this versatile cowl mitigates downdraft issues effectively. Crafted with precision, the outer and inner skins are made from robust 304 and 316-grade stainless steel respectively, each 0.4mm thick.
The cowl is insulated with high-density (200kg/m3) compressed rockwool and fully welded to ensure durability. It maintains a safe distance to combustibles of 50mm. HETAS approved and CE marked, the Rotating Cowl Ø 175 meets stringent safety standards, boasting designation numbers EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and EN1856-1 T200 W V2 L50040 O20.
Installation is straightforward with the use of a Locking Band, ensuring the system is securely fastened and maintaining the necessary distance from combustible materials.
