Our Rope Adhesive 50ml is a high-quality, high-temperature adhesive designed specifically to secure thermal rope, tape, and ceramic fibre seals. Whether you're dealing with doors or lids on solid fuel stoves or boilers, this versatile adhesive ensures a strong and lasting hold. Manufactured from woven glass fibres, fire rope, when paired with this adhesive, delivers impressive durability and heat resistance.
To install, simply clean away any old rope and remove any loose metal debris from the locating channel. Apply the Rope Adhesive as per the instructions, press the fire rope firmly into the channel, and then cut it to finish with an end-to-end butt joint. Allow a minimum of fifteen minutes before closing any doors.
One 50ml tube is sufficient for roughly 5 meters of fire rope, making it an economical choice for regular maintenance.
