Our Rockwool Tube, measuring 1000mm in length and 200mm in diameter, offers an excellent solution for insulating your flue liner. Manufactured from non-combustible rock wool, these tubes provide robust protection against harsh weather conditions, significantly reducing the possibility of condensation in the flue. Ideal for large open chimneys, or those situated in exposed locations, Rockwool Tubes are designed for a continuous operating temperature of up to 500°C.
The 25mm thick insulation comes with three versatile diameters to suit various liner sizes – 140mm (for 125mm liners), 169mm (for 150mm liners), and 219mm (for 200mm liners), with the largest easily trimmed to fit a 175mm (7 inch) chimney liner. Installation is straightforward: each 1-metre section is secured with 50mm wide Aluminium Tape, making sure all joints are well-sealed. Please note, Rockwool Tubes are not suitable for class 2 flexible liners (gas and oil liners).
