According to Building Regulations Document J, flexible flue liners must be fully enclosed within a masonry chimney, as non-masonry enclosures like timber or plasterboard are not acceptable.
This nose cone is suitable for use with appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation) and works well with fuels such as wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil. All installation components have been meticulously crafted to ensure a complete and fully functional chimney system. For maintenance, it is crucial to sweep and inspect the chimney at least once a year, or ideally twice if using solid fuels.
Always use a competent person for this task, and refer to HETAS registered sweeps for reliable service. Avoid using chemical cleaners or mild steel tools to protect your stainless steel chimney system.
