The MI-VIT Lite 250mm Pipe - Ø 150 is an essential component for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Constructed from zero carbon steel with a vitreous enamel matt black finish, it is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. Please note, this pipe should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
Installation requires careful attention: ensure the smaller diameter points downward to keep condensates within the system and avoid exposure to combustible materials within 450mm distance. While MI-VIT Lite pipes feature friction fit joints that don't require sealing at high temperatures (T600), pellet installations with positive pressure (P1) do require sealed joints. Regular maintenance, including annual chimney cleaning, especially for solid fuel applications, is advised.
