The Mi-Pellet Tee Cap Ø 100mm is specifically designed to cap off the base of a tee in your flue system, ensuring a secure and efficient connection. Manufactured from zero carbon steel with a durable vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish, this tee cap is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures of up to 600°C. When paired with a seal, it achieves a P1 pressure rating, making it capable of handling working temperatures up to 200°C T200.
It's important to note that the Mi-Pellet pipe should only serve as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. It should never be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Installation is straightforward but requires adherence to specific guidelines, including ensuring a minimum distance of 375mm from combustible materials.
Additionally, the tee cap allows for easy access during cleaning and maintenance, which is particularly crucial for solid fuel applications. Remember to fit the pipe with the smaller diameter pointing downwards to contain condensates within the flue system. For high-temperature installations, the joints do not require sealing, but seals must be used for positive pressure (P1) installations.
