Compliant with Building Regulations Document J, it ensures a gas-tight seal when properly installed within a masonry chimney.
It supports appliances operating up to 600°C (T600 designation) and is suitable for wood with less than 20% moisture, smokeless coal, gas, and oil. The transition joint created by this adaptor must be securely fixed using fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant to ensure safety and efficiency. Regular maintenance, including annual sweeping by a competent person, is essential for optimal performance and longevity.
