All of our glass hearths are CE marked for safety and compliance. For HETAS approval and to meet UK Building Regulations Document J, this hearth meets the 12mm thickness requirement. Installation is straightforward: position the hearth to cover at least 300mm in front of your wood-burning stove and extend it by 150mm on each side.
To prevent dirt and impurities from getting underneath, it's recommended to use a thin, transparent silicone joint between the hearth and the floor.
