Preparation: • Ensure the existing surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or debris. Mixing: • Combine the screed with water as per the instructions until achieving a smooth, trowelable consistency. • Avoid overmixing as this may affect the overall performance and setting time. Application: • Apply the screed evenly using a suitable trowel, ensuring consistent thickness across the surface. • For optimum results, maintain a coverage of approximately 10mm thickness. Curing & Precautions: • Allow an initial setting time of 24 hours, while full curing can take up to 28 days. • Protect the applied screed from frost and excessive moisture during the curing period. • Do not disturb the surface during the curing process to prevent imperfections. Additional Warnings: • Always adhere to the manufacturer’s safety guidelines when handling and applying the screed. • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to safeguard against accidental splashes or exposure during mixing and application.
