The EuroSW1 Tee Cap - Ø 150mm is specifically designed for high-temperature applications, suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C. This single skin connecting flue system is made from zero carbon steel, promising durability and efficiency. Ideal for connecting your appliance to your Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, the EuroSW1 should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.For installation, ensure a distance of at least 450mm from combustible materials such as wood or plasterboards.
Install EuroSW1 correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep all condensates within the flue system. Although the friction fit joint does not require sealing, you can use a jointing compound for added security. If the pipe needs cutting, coat any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.
Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.Regular maintenance is crucial, particularly for solid fuel appliances. Make provision for inspecting and cleaning by installing sections with access doors at direction changes. We recommend sweeping and maintaining your chimney at least once a year to ensure optimal performance and safety.
