The EuroSW1 Damper Unit Ø 125mm is essential for managing the flow of flue gases from gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. This single-skin connecting flue, crafted from zero carbon steel, is designed exclusively for use between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Note that it should not be utilized to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Precision is key to the EuroSW1's construction.
To ensure safety and efficiency, it must be positioned at least 375mm away from combustible materials like wood or plasterboard. Installation is straightforward—ensure the smaller diameter faces downward to keep condensates within the system. While the friction fit joint doesn't necessitate sealing, you can apply jointing compounds for added security.Maintenance is crucial for performance, particularly for solid fuel applications.
Incorporate access doors at direction changes for hassle-free inspections and cleanings. Solid fuel chimney systems should be swept and maintained at least annually, more frequently if necessary.
