The EuroSW1 Base Support Ø 125mm offers unparalleled performance for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C. Made from high-quality zero carbon steel, this flue pipe serves as a robust connecting link between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. Designed exclusively for use as a connecting pipe, the EuroSW1 should not be passed through combustible materials, such as ceilings or walls.To ensure optimal safety and functionality, the EuroSW1 must be installed with the smaller diameter pointing downward, thus containing any condensates within the flue system.
Each joint is a secure friction fit, but for additional peace of mind, jointing compounds like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used. If the pipe is cut, it's crucial to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.For maintenance, it's recommended to install a EuroSW1 with an access door at any change of direction, especially in solid fuel applications. Regular inspection and sweeping, at least once a year, will maintain the chimney's efficiency and safety.
