The EuroSW1 - Anti-Wind Cowl Ø 200mm is an essential component for connecting your appliance to the flue system, specifically designed for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures reaching up to 600°C. Made from zero-carbon steel, the EuroSW1 offers exceptional durability and efficiency. This single-skin connecting flue system shouldn't be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls to ensure safety and integrity.
Installation is straightforward, with the smaller diameter always pointing downward, preventing external condensate. While friction-fit joints don’t need sealing, applying jointing compound could provide added security. Cuttable to suit various setups but ensure exposed steel is treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.
Regular inspection and maintenance are crucial, especially for solid fuel appliances, achievable by installing access doors at directional changes. This ensures efficient performance and a prolonged lifespan of your chimney and flue system.
