The EuroSW1 Adjustable Pipe (250-400mm, Ø 150mm) is meticulously designed to bridge the gap between two fixed points within your heating system. This robust pipe is manufactured with zero carbon steel, offering excellent durability and resistance to high temperatures up to 600°C. Ideal for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, the EuroSW1 should be utilised as a connecting pipe between your appliance and either a flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system.EuroSW1 pipes should not pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
During installation, ensure a minimum distance of 450mm from any combustible materials, such as wood or plasterboard. For best results, position the smaller diameter downward, preventing condensates from escaping and ensuring they remain within the system.The EuroSW1 features a friction-fit joint, eliminating the need for additional sealing. However, for added security, joints can be reinforced with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant.
If the pipe is cut, it's crucial to coat the exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.Regular maintenance is essential, especially for solid fuel applications. Implement inspection and cleaning routines by incorporating pipes with access doors at directional changes. Chimneys serving solid fuel appliances should be thoroughly swept and maintained at least once annually.
