Made from high-quality zero carbon steel, this single skin flue component is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, managing temperatures up to 600°C. Primarily used as a connector between your appliance and the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, this elbow should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.**Construction**Made from robust zero carbon steel, the EuroSW1 90° Elbow ensures durability and efficiency.
Its high heat tolerance makes it ideal for various fuels, including gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances.**Installation**When installing the EuroSW1 90° Elbow, maintain at least 375mm distance from any combustible materials. Ensure the smaller diameter points downward, allowing condensates to remain within the system. Although the friction fit joints don’t require sealing, adding fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can provide extra security.
This component is designed to be cut to size; just make sure to cover exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.**Maintenance**Regular inspection and cleaning are crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. Consider incorporating a EuroSW1 with access doors at directional changes for easy maintenance. Chimneys serving solid fuel appliances should be swept and maintained at least annually.
