Designed for use with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, this robust pipe can withstand temperatures up to 600°C. Manufactured from zero carbon steel, the EuroSW1 is perfect for connecting your appliance to a Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System.Please note, the EuroSW1 should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.
When installing, ensure that no piece of EuroSW1 is within 540mm of any combustible material like wood or plasterboard. Correct installation requires the smaller diameter to point downward, ensuring that condensates remain within the system and do not escape to the exterior.This single-skin pipe features a friction fit joint that does not require sealing. However, for additional security, joints can be sealed with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant.
If any cutting is required, exposed steel should be coated with high-temperature paint to prevent rust. Always wear appropriate PPE when installing the EuroSW1.Maintaining the chimney or flue system is crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. Regular inspections and cleanings are recommended, and integrating access doors at changes of direction can facilitate this process.
