The MI-VIT Lite 90° Tee - Ø 150mm is an essential component for effectively connecting your flue system to the rear outlet of gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances. Designed for temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius, this single skin connecting flue system is crafted from zero carbon steel, coated in a durable matt black vitreous enamel finish. It's perfect for high-temperature applications and ensures thorough condensate containment within the flue system, minimising external leakage.When installing the MI-VIT Lite, maintain a safe distance of at least 450mm from combustible materials such as wood and plasterboard.
The pipe’s friction fit joint eliminates the need for extra sealing for T600 installations, though seals must be used for positive pressure (P1) installations, like those for pellet appliances. Additionally, if you need to cut MI-VIT Lite, ensure any exposed steel is covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting.Regular maintenance is crucial, especially for solid fuel appliances. Make sure to install access doors for easy inspection and cleaning, ideally at direction changes.
For optimal performance, sweep and maintain chimneys serving solid fuel appliances at least once a year.
