The KC Rain Cap with Mesh - Ø 100 provides robust protection for your chimney system. Ideal for solid fuel and gas/oil appliances such as woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, and oil boilers, this rain cap is constructed from durable stainless steel. The outer skin features 304 grade stainless steel at 0.4mm thickness, and the inner skin uses 316 grade stainless steel, also at 0.4mm thick.
Complete insulation is ensured with compressed rockwool, boasting a density of 128kg/m³. Fully welded components guarantee longevity and reliability. The added 25mm square wire mesh effectively prevents birds and vermin from entering the flue, making it a safe choice for most fuels, excluding gas.
HETAS approved and CE marked, this rain cap meets top industry standards. Installation is straightforward, requiring a Locking Band to secure the KC Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts. Ensure a 60mm distance from combustibles like wood or plasterboard.
