Note that the VIT-Smooth Adaptor is exclusively for use as a connecting pipe and should not be passed through ceilings or combustible walls. Ensure a minimum distance of 375mm is kept from any combustible materials during installation. The VIT-Smooth system employs a friction fit joint, eliminating the necessity for sealing, though jointing compounds such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used for added security.
