Manufactured from zero carbon steel and coated with powder vitreous enamel in a sleek matt black finish, this single skin flue system is built to withstand temperatures up to 600°C, making it suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances.**APPLICATION**Ideal for use as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Note: VIT-Smooth should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.**CONSTRUCTION**Crafted for durability, VIT-Smooth is equipped with a powder vitreous enamel coating that protects against high temperatures and provides an elegant black finish. This ensures longevity and reliability for various heating appliances.**INSTALLATION GUIDELINES**- Maintain a distance of 375mm from combustible materials when installing.- Ensure the smaller diameter is facing downward to contain condensates within the flue system.- No need for joint sealing due to its friction fit design, but for added security, joints can be sealed with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant.- If cutting the pipe, ensure exposed steel is covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.- Always wear appropriate PPE during installation.**MAINTENANCE TIPS**Regular chimney inspections and cleanings are crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. Incorporating access doors at direction changes can facilitate easier maintenance. At a minimum, chimneys should be swept at least annually.
