The powder enamel matt black finish not only provides a sleek look but also enhances the pipe's resistance to heat and wear.### InstallationWhen installing the VIT-Smooth pipe, ensure it is at least 375mm away from any combustible materials like wood or plasterboard. The pipe must be fitted with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep any condensates within the flue system. The VIT-Smooth pipe uses a friction-fit joint, so sealing is not mandatory, though you may use high-temperature silicone sealant or fire cement for extra security. Remember to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rust.### MaintenanceRegular inspection and cleaning are crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. This can be easily managed by installing a VIT-Smooth pipe with an access door at changes of direction. For solid fuel appliances, annual sweeping and maintenance are recommended to ensure optimal performance and safety.
