Note that it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. When installing, ensure the smaller diameter is pointed downward to prevent condensates from leaking outside the pipe. Designed for ease of installation with a friction fit joint, no sealing compounds are necessary, though they can be used for extra security. It's also designed to be cut to fit, with any exposed steel needing a high-temperature paint coat to prevent rust.
