Installation is straightforward: Position the plate against the underside of the stack, mark and secure it with screws into the surrounding masonry. For an optimal seal, use Fire Cement and Fire Rope. The single wall pipe can then be easily mounted onto the spigot, finalising with additional Fire Cement and Fire Rope to ensure airtight connections. This adaptor must be used only after the existing clay liner passes a thorough smoke test to confirm it is in good condition.
