This single-skin connecting flue system, made from zero carbon steel with a durable vitreous enamel coating, provides a sleek matte black finish. Not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls, it strictly serves as a connection between your appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. The MI-VIT Lite can achieve a P1 pressure rating up to 200°C when fitted with a seal. It's a friction-fit joint system that requires no sealing for T600 high temperature applications, although Pellet installations with positive pressure will need seals at every joint. Remember, keep MI-VIT Lite at least 450mm from any combustible materials. During installation, always ensure proper PPE is used, and cover any cut steel with high temperature paint to prevent rusting. Maintenance is straightforward - regular inspection and chimney sweeping ensure longevity, especially for solid fuel applications.
